The third day of Navaratri is dedicated to Maa Chandraghant.

The idol of beauty and bravery. She appears with ten hands and three eyes. She held weapons in her five hands such as bow, arrow, trishula (bharji), sword and gade. The other three hands carry the rosary, lotus and Kamandala (Hooji), and the remaining two hands show the boon and Abhaya Mudras (signal) blessing its devotees. Half moon (moon) adores her forehead in the shape of an bell (bell) Riding on a lion and emitting gold colour, she gives a magnificent look.

One of the most unique aspects of her looks is that she always looks ready to go to war; yet her face got a calm effect like the cool breeze in the morning night.

She is worshipped for joy, knowledge, peace and serenity, growth of all activities, purpose of life. As she is always on ready sign, she provides instant benefits to the admirers. When you call her, the sound of her bell protects you from evil spirits and her lion makes you as brave and fearless as him.

Chandraghanta Devi is connected with Manipur Chakra. When you focus on the Manipura Chakra, you will be able to see supernatural and divine objects, experience divine fragrance and hear divine sounds. Today, the achiever (fighter) must be very careful. One of the distinct quality of Goddess Chandraghantals blessings is that it helps the achiever to develop bravery and fearlessness along with calmness and humility.
